Electrical Design Engineer – Reading, Berkshire

Our client is a highly successful established firm of consulting design engineers, specialising in mechanical and electrical services design across the built environment. They work on some really

high profile projects across the UK with leading architects, designers and contractors and have an excellent reputation for delivery, quality and reliability of their services.

This company design and specify the mechanical and electrical services for a range of buildings, although their primary sectors are data centres and residential.

Naturally they have an emphasis on sustainable, low carbon design.

As a result of growth, they are looking for an intermediate Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years current building services design experience to join the friendly team, in Reading, Berkshire.

Progression

• This is a great position to develop within, and you will be supported by a project director, or senior electrical design engineer on a day to day basis, but with the emphasis on you being given space to work under your own initiative.

• Degree qualified in electrical engineering.

• Experience working as electrical (building services) design engineer.

• Working knowledge of wiring regulations BS 7671.

• Working knowledge of relevant British Standards.
