This role is ideal for someone looking to develop and progress as an engineer, you will receive mentoring and work closely with the directors who are directly involved in project delivery and management.
About the Role
Working as part of a team.
Electrical services design including but not limited to LV design including cable sizing, Lighting and lighting controls, Emergency lighting, Fire alarms, Security systems, Audio Visual Systems and Lightning protection.
Preparation and development of concept, feasibility and detailed design proposals, which include specifications, drawings, calculations.
Attending meeting with colleagues, clients, other professional design team members and contractors.
Using DIALux lighting and Amtech electrical software.
Fully proficient in AutoCAD 2D with either some knowledge of the use of Revit or the desire to learn.
Requirements
Minimum 4-5 years’ Electrical services design experience in the UK.
DIALux and Amtech software knowledge.
MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
Good communication skills.
Strong technical expertise within electrical building services design, gained working within the UK building services industry for either a consultancy or contractor.
Knowledge of UK design legislation and guidance.
Minimum HNC/HND level in building services or electrical engineering or degree equivalent.
